Introduction - First Time Buyers

It’s a great time to buy a first home!  Never before have so many positive market forces been available to first time buyers like low mortgage rates, low home prices, purchase incentives, government tax credits, etc.

In addition, never before has there been so much information about how to buy a home, available homes online, what you’ll need to buy a home and even advice from friends and relatives.  It almost seems easy!

Buying a home should be “simple” but we don’t recommend you search without an experienced real estate agent from the area you are interested.  That agent will give you the market specific information you need  (that you can’t find anywhere on the internet!), help you evaluate fair market value / price for the home(s) of interest, help you negotiate within the customs of the neighborhood and help your transaction stay on track.

So, please have a look at some of the resources we’ve assembled and don’t hesitate to contact us with suggestions for future articles or with a question.
