Home Sheep Home
Home Sheep Home
There is nothing more enjoyable than taking our German Shepherds to a sheep farm and working the sheep. German Shepherds take to this business instinctively -- it is the human shepherd who must learn to read both the sheep and the dog and determine how to make them follow the shepherd's plan.
The Problem: The sheep need to be moved from one side of the graze to another.
The solution: Find a German Shepherd with a little initiative and gather the sheep together.

The Setback: Maybe a little too much initiative from the German Shepherd -- he has lambchops on his mind . . . !
The correction: time out for a lesson in who's boss.

The holdouts: Never underestimate a ewe and her lambs.
